Community Health Care Project (CHCP) a national level NGO was founded in 1974 registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau, Government of Bangladesh and its Registration number is DSW/FDO/R-025 dated on 22 August 1981 with starting with Primary Health Care and Family planning programs. CHCP gradually shifted to an integrated development organization responding to the needs of the hardcore poor people and most vulnerable section of the society specially the women and children. In the beginning, CHCP was mainly involved in service delivery to complement and supplement development efforts of the Government specially in the field of Maternal Child Health Care (MCH) and FP. Considering the prevailing situations, CHCP changes development strategy and program interventions and has been gradually limiting its service delivery through education and motivating people to access all available service facilities from the Government, NGOs and other agencies through Right Based Approach.

CHCP Also registered with the Microcredit Regulatory Authority having its registration # 01140-00202-00055 dated on 05 Septemebr 2007 has been implementing Micro Credit Program in the field level since 2007.

CHCP aims for a sustainable development to secure prosperity, human dignity and honor of the poor and disadvantaged groups by ensuring a healthy and harmonious community life through participation.

Mission

To follow the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in working with the poor and disadvantaged group in the field of health, education, justice and poverty eradication through His love without any discrimination of sex, race or religion.

Goal

To improve the quality of life of the economically and socially disadvantaged families in the community through active participation and involvement in health and development process.
